I’m Sue Hagerty, a socialist, activist and a fierce defender of democracy.

This CEC election is about establishing a party that is fully transparent and maximally democratic. It’s about setting an accessible, inclusive culture right from the start.

For us in Wales it’s about having the vibrant branches we need and the autonomy we choose as a nation. It’s always about your voice.

What matters is making sure all members can have their say in whatever way on how the party moves forwards is most comfortable to them - online or in person, in speech or written form. It’s about not giving control to those who have celebrity endorsements or an organised network behind them, but making sure ordinary members are firmly in the driving seat.
