About Hilary Schan
I’m standing on my proven record of organising and winning for socialism in the South East. I led a historic victory in Worthing, winning the council for the first time on a bold socialist manifesto, and now serve as an Independent councillor. As a former Chair of Momentum, I have run a national political organisation and have seen how Left factionalism weakens us. In my day job, I'm a Community Food worker and proud member of the Bakers, Food and Allied Workers' Union. I will be accountable only to members and focused on building a democratic, outward-facing socialist party that can unite, win, and defeat the far right.
