About Helen Collins

I am a feminist and antifascist grassroots campaigner committed to intersectionality, from fighting misogyny and supporting trans rights to centring the voices of marginalised communities. My activism is rooted in real world change, including campaigning for a night shelter for the homeless in Liverpool and lobbying against hostile architecture and anti demonstration legislation. I live with disability and chronic illness, which informs my commitment to accessible policy and structures that enable everyone to participate. Too often disabled members are excluded by inflexible processes and unnecessary bureaucracy.
